Forschen und Lehren

Die Rolle von Forschung in ICSE

ICSE ist ein internationales Zentrum, das sich der Forschung im Bereich des MINT-Unterrichts verschrieben hat. Richtungsweisend ist für ICSE dabei eine für die Schulpraxis relevante Forschung und deren Transfer in die Praxis. Im Rahmen des ICSE Konsortiums wird die Arbeit führender Forschungsinstitutionen aus ganz Europa zu diesem Thema durch regelmäßigen Austausch und gemeinsame Projekte gebündelt und weiterentwickelt.

Im Hinblick auf die Zielsetzung von ICSE, den MINT-Unterricht europaweit zu verbessern, liegt das Augenmerk in der Forschung auf den folgenden Aspekten:

  • Forschung zu innovativen Lehrmethoden wie dem forschenden Lernen, Realitätsbezüge, Bezüge zur Berufswelt, Interdisziplinarität oder Diversität im Klassenzimmer.
  • Entwicklung, Umsetzung und Evaluation von möglichen und wirkungsvollen Konzepten für Lehrer*innenfortbildungen.
  • Forschung zum Scaling-up von Fortbildungen, also dem Ausbringen von Lehrer*innenfortbildungen auf sehr breiter Ebene unter Berücksichtigung von systemischen Faktoren
  • Entwicklung von innovativen, forschungsorientierten Unterrichtsmaterialien und Fortbildungsmaterialien.

Die meisten ICSE Projekte (v.a. MaSDiV, Primas, Mascil) fokussieren auf die forschungsbasierte Entwicklung von Unterrichts- und Fortbildungskonzepten und deren Evaluation. Forschungsergebnisse aus diesen Projekten finden Sie im Bereich Publikationen. Informationen zu den aktuellen Projekten finden Sie im Folgenden.

Forschungsprojekte

ICSE arbeitet auf internationaler Ebene eng mit dem ICSE Konsortium und weiteren Institutionen zusammen und führt eine Reihe von Aktivitäten durch.  Dazu gehören internationale Aktivitäten wie Konferenzen, das Koordinieren von Netzwerken,  sowie das Aussenden eines internationalen Newsletters.

In europäischen Projekten arbeiten wir an der Entwicklung und weiteren Verbreitung von innovativen Unterrichtsansätzen in der MINT-Bildung. Aktuell arbeiten wir in mehren internationalen Projekten (ENSITE, GEM, MOST, Teach4Life und STEMKey) zu einer vielzahl von Themen, wie Key Competences, Mädchen in MINT, Open Schooling, etc.. Alle unsere Materialien aus aktuellen und früheren Projekten (z.B. IncluSME, STEM PD Net, PRIMAS, mascil, COMPASS, LEMA) sind kostenlos in unserer Materialdatenbank zugänglich.
